RULES

:: AVAILABILITY OF COURTS
The club's hard courts are available to members at all times, although, the Club Professional has priority use of two hard courts in winter and four hard courts in summer for coaching. The junior pennant players have priority use of courts on Thursday afternoons until 5:30pm. Grass courts are closed on Mondays for watering and for a period of about 2 months during winter.

:: VISITORS
Visitors are welcome on any day of the week, provided they are accompanied by a member. The host member is responsible for ensuring the visitor's fee ($10 on weekends, $5 for seniors during the week and $2 for juniors) is paid. Visitors fees should be placed in envelopes kept at the sets desk. A visitor is restricted to a maximum of three visits in any one season.

:: DRESS
Players are requested to observe a recognised standard of tennis attire at all times. Singlets, board shorts and bike pants are NOT classified as suitable attire. Tennis shoes must be worn. Ripple soles, joggers and bare feet are not acceptable. To protect the hard courts non-marking soled shoes must be worn.

:: CASUAL PLAY
On most occasions when play is not organised and you wish to use the facilities, please adhere to the following rules to ensure that these opportunities are enjoyed by all:

• Only members and fee-paying visitors playing with members have any right to be on the courts. Check for a correct coloured shoe tag, or in the case of a visitor, that they have paid the visitor's fee.

• Limit your play to 60 minutes at times when others are waiting or offer to play doubles to maximise court usage.

• During weekday afternoons, seniors playing with other seniors have priority for courts from 5pm, except Thursdays when junior pennant players train until 5:30pm.

Please remember that if someone queries your status, don't become indignant, but rather be thankful that you belong to a club that has a code of behaviour.

:: SHOE TAGS
Your shoe tag is used to show that you are a financial member of the club and as such are entitled to use the Club's facilities. To avoid the embarrassment of being asked to leave the Club by mistake, PLEASE WEAR YOUR SHOE TAG AT ALL TIMES.
