EVENTS :: SUNDOWNER AND ROXY PARADE The Sundown Party and Roxy Parade, held at the Club on Friday 25th November 2005 was a great success. The evening featured a summer parade with fashions from Roxy Boutique. Julia Allen and Gaye Hayes would like to thank all the members who supported the event. Special thanks to all the wonderful models: Cathy Alder, Nanette Smith, Jane Travers, Chae, Libby Mussared, Nikki Carter, Maryanne Giles, Bryony Dewar-Leahy, Mark Sewell, Goran Marijan and Sam Maxwell. Loretta Hughes, Anne McNamara, Natalie Greatrex and Jamie Motion were invaluable behind the scenes dressing the models. Steve Ward was, as always, a tremendous help doing anything that was required with his usual flair. Cathy Greatrex, assisted by Noelle Udall, did a great job organising the catering and special thanks to all the members who provided quality food. Rob Tucker and his bar staff were very successful in keeping the party swinging until midnight. Thanks to the volunteer waiters and waitresses who kept the food coming. Wendy Bloor and Chris Kelly were the efficient ticket collectors at the door. Louise Denny and Debbie Long organised the raffle - prizes were donated by Mastastroke, Russell Furnishings & Interiors, Roxy Boutique and Cooper & Lourie Family Opticians. Tony Salom from Power Music did a fantastic job with the cat walk, backdrop lights and music and Simon Zilko was a great D.J It was a fun night which would not have been achieved without the huge effort from all of these people.
